Pier House is six miles from Lochcarron and has an ideal, peaceful, shore side location with stunning views over to Skye and the Bealach Nam Bo (the Pass of the Cattle). It is an excellent touring base for Wester Ross with Plockton, Skye, Applecross within easy reach.

With the shore side location, the house is an ideal site for watersports. Fishing is available in the loch and in local hill lochs. For walkers you can take it easy walking through the local woods or tackle something bigger with the Torridon mountains only a twenty-minute drive away.

In the village you will find a shop which sells all the basic necessities together with a wide variety of gifts. You will also find an excellent sea food restaurant. Lochcarron has two hotels and a Café. There is also a Bank (HBOS), a small supermarket, a butchers and a garage. There is also has a nine-hole golf course, where visitors are welcome to play.
